death valley is my fav place right after the vegas valley. im trying to get in to more land scape. can you tell me about the set up on this (how you toke the photo thanks)

Camera settings are visible on the right. Otherwise it was just a quick shot after getting out of the car.

The perspective is great, the rocks in the foreground appear the same size as the mountains in the back, something Ansle did in some of his photos. Great exposure too, the tonal range is great!

Black and white was the only way to get something out of the shot :-)
Also had a little help and inspiration from the Ansel Adams book we bough at the Zion national park ;)
